A Beginner's Guide to Second Life version 1.1 by v3imageOverall a great introduction to Second Life, maybe getting slightly dated with newer versions of SL, August 29, 2008 This is a great book, it walks you through every aspect of SL. It even shows basic building and content creation in Second Life. If you are looking for an introduction this book is not bad. Some of it can be a bit confusing since SL has redesigned the user interface since this book's screen shots were made. However, its not hard to figure out!

PFI23731 - Neosporin Antibiotic Ointment by PfizerHandy packs of Neosporin, but probably the most expensive way to buy Neosporin, August 29, 2008 For at home is probably best to have a tube. But these can be really handy to carry on trips to have a few doses of Neosporin. Also good in a first aid kit!

Learning Drupal 6 Module Development by Matt ButcherGood solid Drupal book, , August 29, 2008 It seems every version of Drupal likes to change the API considerably. Signatures change, and many functions are dropped. Backwards compatibility is really NOT a concern with Drupal. This book covers the current version, 6, of Drupal.
It walks you through all of the code ideas of Drupal module and theme development. And really does a great job of doing this. Even if you are familiar with 5, the book examples are such that you can skim and upgrade your knowledge to 6.x.
One nice addition would have been a bit of reference. Maybe list all of the hook functions. List all of the form component types, with every attribute. I often found myself going online for examples of how to do form components that were not covered by this book.

HP D2530 Deskjet Printer by Hewlett-PackardWorks fine on my windows computers, but scanner has issues on the Mac, August 29, 2008 If you are buying this to use as a scanner for a Mac, expect to have some extra trouble. The disc that they provide contains some antiquated software that does not seem to work with current versions of the Mac operating system. I have yet to be able to successfully scan on the Mac. I ended up putting it on my windows computer and sharing for printing.
On a Windows machine this is a great product. I've had no problems with it. It both scanns and prints great. I am quite happy with it.
Jeffrey Heaton gave 5 stars to: Professional VHF Wireless Lavaliere Camcorder Microphone System
Jeffrey Heaton reviewed:
Professional VHF Wireless Lavaliere Camcorder Microphone System by Audio-TechnicaGreat lavaliere mic., August 29, 2008 Make sure your camcorder, or recording device, has a mic input. You need it for this. And it seems many camcorders these days are coming with no external mic jack at all! This device works great. You do need to provide your own microphone to plug in, but they are not too expensive. This device just provides the wireless capability. It provides clear sound transmission, and also has an ear-piece jack at the camera side. This is very handy for your camera-man to make sure that the sound quality is what you expect, before you waste too much time taping! For the price, a very good product!

Exploring Old Quebec: Walking Tours of the Historic City by Maude Bonenfant1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: Its exaclty what the name says, a collection of walking tours, August 29, 2008 This is not organized like your typical guide book. I was looking more for a typical guide book, but I will not knock a book for doing exactly what its title says. You will not find an overall map of Old Quebec. Not any sort of alphabetical list of restaurants or places to see. Actually very little coverage of restaurants. For this book to be of any use, you should pick one of their walking tours and follow it, using the book as your guide. The book provides interesting information about the stops along the tour.

Dell Inspiron 3000, 3200, 3500, 7000, B130 Series Laptop Replacement AC Power Adapter by BlueNook.comWay cheaper than Dell's replacement part and works just as good, if not better, August 29, 2008 I don't know what it is with Dell power supplies. They always seem to fail before I am done with the laptop. I've bought two of these now, both for different laptops and have been very happy. They seem to be holding up just fine. I hope they last longer than the original Dell part.

KT900 3-Light 1250-Watt Mini-Boom Kit by Smith VictorGreat kit for the money!, August 29, 2008 You could spend a whole lot more on this! But this is a great kit, its brighter than some of the less expensive models. It also can be broken down and put back into the handy carrying case that it comes with. It allows you to get the three basic light types and produce nice looking video or stills. I use it together with both a digital camera and a HD camcorder, and am very happy with it.

Vicks Nursery 1 Gallon Vaporizer with Night-Light by VicksVery basic model, it works, but no frills!, August 29, 2008 It works quite well and keeps the air moist. It also makes very little noise. However, I ended up replacing it with a more expensive($49) model. Here are some of the features I would have liked.
1. There is no easy way to tell how much water is left, short of popping the top off. More expensive models let you see how much water is left. This was the most annoying feature for me.
2. To replace the water, you have to take the top off, set it to the side, and carry the bottom part to a water source. More expensive models let you detach a water holder and fill that.
3. On switch is on the cord. It just makes me nervous handling water and reaching for the power cord.
However, it does do the job! If you want more features, get a more expensive model. If not, this is a great device for the price.
