ISYS-307: Database Development

This class teaches you to create visual applications using a variety of database platforms, such as MS-Access, dBASE and others.  During this course you will learn to creat interactive MS-Access applications.  You will learn to use forms, queries, and other objects.  A major part of your grade will be a project that you will present during the last class session.

ISYS-340: Programming in Java

An introductory course intended to provide a basic knowledge of the Java programming language for designing and writing standalone programs. The course will concentrate on programs that are run in a web browser and also on programs executed outside of a web browser. The use of the Internet is an important component of this course.

ISYS-306: Advanced Database

This class teaches you to create visual applications using a variety of database platforms, such as MS-Access, dBASE and others.

ISYS-302: Introduction to Programming (Visual Basic)

This course provides coverage of the entire programming process, including program design and using structured techniques, program logic, testing, debugging and documentation. Visual Basic is used to illustrate these principles. An introduction to object-oriented programming is included.

These are the classes that I either teach, or have taught in the past, for Maryville University. I am an adjunct member of the faculty at Maryville University. I teach a variety of topics such as Java, database programming, web development, visual basic, and other topics. I do not teach couses every semester. These courses are taught in a computer lab, in a hands-on way.
